I made it through basic! :) I had my second outbreak while I was there, but it wasn’t bad at all and it’s all better now. How’ve you all been?! Update me!
I leave for basic tomorrow guys. No posts for 2 months. Stay safe.
Reblogging again for the link. WTF?
This is why my step-father told me not to stop (not even for gas) when I’m driving through those states… He told me a terrible story about him driving through Mississippi (heading to New Orleans). Long story short, he had to pretend that he had a gun in his back pocket for them to leave him alone, and this was just a few years ago.
And I also heard that they did not integrate high school proms until 2005.
“BUT THAT HAPPENED IN THE 1960’s!!!!!!!1111ONEONE”

Well I’ll be damned.
Safe sex.
Are you getting tested regularly? How are you getting tested?
1 in 5 people have genital herpes, 90% of these individuals aren’t aware that they have it. Contrary to what people may think, genital herpes can go about without being discovered. This is why the virus is so easily spread. How do you know if you have it? If you are presenting symptoms (Such as presence of sores, redness, itchiness, vaginal discharge, pain while urinating, ect.), you may get a swab testing. If you do not have any symptoms, you may get blood work to identify the presence of herpes simplex antibodies (Type 1 or 2). The antibodies can take up to 2 months to be present in your system & if you are not presenting any sores you can be a herpes carrier and still test negative. Protecting yourself is a sure way to avoid skin to skin contact with your sexual partner, do it.
